This was the first division established in the company. We are providing quality soil investigation service to contractors and developers since 1992. Today DECON has in its fleet three rotary machines and equal number of percussion equipment. It also has the expertise to conduct investigation in all types of soil, and under flowing water conditions in canals and rivers.

We prepare interpretative geotechnical reports in which emphasis is made to optimize the foundations sizes and cheaper solutions for soil improvement.

In the field we conduct following tests,

Our Soil Testing Laboratory is functional since the inception of DECON. NESPAK certified our laboratory on their approved panel of Soil Testing Laboratories, in 2008.

• Unconfined Compression
• Direct Shear
• Consolidation
• Compaction
• California Bearing Ratio
• Organic Matter
• Sulfate and Chloride in Water and Soil

This division was added in company's outfit in 1993. We have the expertise to drill boreholes for pile foundations with reverse rotary and percussion methods. Our fleet of equipment comprise two sets of reverse rotary rigs and four sets of percussion rigs complete with accessories. A number of piling contracts comprising bored piles for overhead power transmission line towers, substations, commercial and industrial buildings have been executed successfully.

We also undertake Pile Load Test with Kentiledge method up to 700 tons. All the equipment required for the Pile Load test is owned by the company.

We have installed Water Wells ranging from 0.5 cusecs to 4 cusecs by reverse rotary and percussion methods on turnkey basis, that is including;

• Packing material
• Development of well
• Pump out test

DECON provides services in the field of general construction on medium scale. Few projects for Construction of Overhead Water Tanks, Development of Telecom Sites, Construction of Culverts and Pile Caps/Tie Beams for Power Transmission Tower Foundations have been undertaken and successfully completed.
